What’s the latest AFCW campaign all about?

AFC Wimbledon has launched a new campaign to encourage as many fans as possible to vote in favour of selling their current ground, despite the lack of progress on their Plough Lane planning application.

The club is calling it ‘Back in two ticks’, as a large proportion of members have to vote twice in order to agree the sale of their current Kingsmeadow stadium on the outskirts of Kingston to fund the building of a new 20,000-seat stadium in Plough Lane.

Chelsea FC are the likely new owners of the Kingsmeadow Cherry Red Records stadium which AFC Wimbledon currently share with Kingstonian FC.
