Got a spare hour (or three)?

At last! After months of anticipation, AFC Wimbledon’s plans to develop a new stadium in Plough Lane are revealed.

As expected, they want to build a state-of-the-art 20,000-seater stadium, with funding for this aided by developing part of the site for 602 housing units along with a supermarket.

The football club, with its main partner Galliard Homes, has submitted reams of documents detailing the project. So if you’re interested in finding out exactly what is planned for the old Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium, you’d better start reading your way through the 75 files now – or you certainly won’t have finished them before the deadline for comments January 19, 2015.

And when we say 75 files, warning! Some of them run to hundreds of pages… No quick read, this!
